Summer Salads 🥗

Possibly the most requested food all summer long…”just bring a salad”.  So let’s make them great!  In this class you will make three large salads, all with make-ahead and holding powers to make a cottage weekend, camping trip or backyard BBQ a breeze.  You will learn three different vinaigrette techniques, how to properly cook grains, pasta for salad and rice noodles, as well as how to properly store and pack up your salads for travel!  

Recipes Include: (each salad makes approx. 6 servings)

Creamy Chicken Pasta Caesar with Blender Parmesan Dressing
Vietnamese Rice Noodle Salad with Toasted Peanut Vinaigrette

Cave Spring Pinot Gris 2021
This wine originates from selected Niagara Peninsula vineyards in close proximity to the south shore of Lake Ontario. Well-drained loamy soils laced with shale and sandstone, along with moderating on-shore breezes, allow for a gradual ripening of this cool-climate variety, producing a Pinot Gris with crisp fruit and soft textures.
