Ticket Price ($35) is per household i.e. one zoom code per house. If there are 10 of you in one house, its still just one zoom code! Have a party!
The ticket price ($35) is a taxable service, and the ingredient box (price varies) is non-taxable groceries.
The ingredient packs/recipes generally serving between 2 or 4 people generously. Each class will state how many it will serve. We plan our menus to feed with 2 or 4 people. If you sign up for a class that serves 4 people and you have 2 people you will have some very delicious leftovers.
You sure can: just click “2” in your checkout. We do not break-up packs (i.e. send a ‘half-pack’ of ingredients). Please ensure if you have more people eating, you have more cooks in the kitchen to stay on time!
You will receive a separate email upon registration with a zoom link to the class. Classes open up about 15 minutes prior to start time when we begin to go over all of the equipment set-up
The ingredient list will be emailed to you automatically once you register. Please have your ingredients measured and ready to go before class starts.
Ingredient pick-up is the day of the class between 12:00pm-5:00 pm if the class is Monday thru Friday. If the class is on a Saturday pick-up is the day before on the Friday between 12:00pm-5:00pm. Pick up is at our location at 105 Lexington Road, unit #19, Waterloo, ON. Pick-up is curbside. Please email email@example.com to make alternate arrangements if necessary.
Your delivery will arrive between 1-3 days before the event, up to 10pm in the evening. All ingredients are in insulated packaging. No need to be home to sign for your package. Any refrigerated items please remove from box and refrigerate promptly. Please, no business addresses.
We delivery across Ontario! The Tri-Cities/Wellington/Bruce/Huron/ GTA/London is $15/household. Please email for further reaching areas.
If you are providing your own ingredients, please have all of your ingredients measured out and ready to go. If you have purchased the ingredients from us, simply sign into the class and bring your ingredients out of the refrigerator, ready to cook with. You will be provided with our handy Cooking Guide to reference throughout the class, which lists the necessary equipment and ingredients as well in a step-by-step list.
Our ingredient boxes do not include eggs, if needed, salt to cook with and neutral cooking oil (for example grape seed, canola oil, sunflower etc.).
We do our absolute best to purchase ingredients directly from local farmers, small businesses and purveyors.
We sure do. We do our best to provide alternatives in all of our classes. Some classes are definitely easier than others, so please email us with your request.
Classes start at various times. From 5 and 6 o’clock during the week. On Saturday’s classes can be scheduled at 11 am 3, 4 or 5pm. We try to keep classes in the 2- 21/2-hour range.
We definitely had to make a giant pivot to our business due to the pandemic and will continue with the growth of this business model. We have re-invested to bring you the best possible online cooking class experience! Best thing, there are no limits to who or from where people can participate.
Wine: we have a specially curated list of wines not available in the LCBO, providing you with unique and interested pairings for all of our classes. We provide a fun, educational and entertaining experience that is very I interactive. Participants are on mute for the duration of class, and can choose to show their screen or not. We encourage questions, chats, fun facts and any other kitchen banter. We’ll ask for your ‘thumbs-up’ if you’re ready to move onto the next step, so that NO COOK IS LEFT BEHIND! Depending on the menu, some courses will be eaten throughout the evening, or some off screen at the end of class.

Two answers here: if you are providing your own ingredients, we will need 1 day’s notice to receive a credit (in the form of a gift card) for a future class of the same purchase value. If you have purchased the class WITH an ingredient box from us, we require 1 week’s notice for a full credit for a future class.

21. If you have booked a private, corporate function with us, we require 6 week’s notice to reschedule within a 6 month time-frame.
Alternatively, can I purchase the class now as a gift, and then send them the information? A: Yes, you can enter all of their details into the registrations fields and they will receive all of the confirmation details. Alternatively yes, you may forward them all of the information as well.
Our classes vary in price, from $35 to attend the class and provide your own ingredients, to $150+ if it is a special wine pairing night. The majority of classes WITH ingredients come in just around $100.
No, gift certificates do not expire, however, class price increases may occur.

Unfortunately we do not have a retail store open to pick up gift cards. You are able to print off your purchase, or we are happy to email you a PDF file with our logo and information on it for you to print off.
