Online Cooking Class & Wine Tasting Event 

Friday, August 9th | 5:00pm-6:30 pm***

Join us for our fourth annual Online Cooking Summer wine class with Cave Spring Head Winemaker and overall wine enthusiast Gabe DeMarco!  Personable, entertaining and an overall great guy this is an exciting evening that should not be missed!  It's like two classes in one:  step by step cooking guidance from Chef's Jody and Kirstie, and wine education from Gabe.  

Nothing beats a homemade burger made on your backyard barbecue, and we've got some great tips to perfect burger game!  Tonight we're pairing it with two wines:  same grape, from different countries. We’re excited to ‘vive le difference’  between two top-rated gamay wines, paired with both French & Canadian influenced food.  

It’s a Burgers, Brie & Beaujolais themed evening, and we are excited to share it with you!

Local ‘Gunn’s Hill’ Brigit Brie Cheese & Baguette
The 'French Onion' Burger on Buttered Brioche

Wine Pairing: $70 (two bottles) 

Wine Pairings:  Have fun comparing these two wines!   In tonight's "Battle Royale' we've got the Cave Spring Gamay Estate, the savoury, structured red and one of Cave's best.  Compare this with Morgon Château de Bellevue Les Charmes  with dark fruit a little crunch, tobacco notes and just plain delicious.
