Sweet Memories: Churros & Tiramisu
Thursday February 1st | 5:00-7:00pm*** (or watch the recording when it suits you!)
The name "tiramisu" translates to "pick me up" or "cheer me up" in Italian, possibly alluding to the coffee and sugar content in the dessert! Tiramisu, with it's coffee-soaked ladyfingers providing a slight crunch and a coffee flavor that contrasts with the creamy, sweet mascarpone mixture. It's a beloved classic, and sure to 'pick you up' on a chilly winter's night! But why stop there?! Our Churros and Chocolate recipe is served hot and rolled in sugar and cinnamon. They are commonly enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack, and they are a popular street food in Spain and Latin American countries.
This class will go through each dessert, step-by-step, with make-ahead tips & tricks along the way. Serving sizes are approximate, and no special equipment is needed, but a star-tipped piping bag is recommended for best results. Ingredient packs do not include eggs :)
