In 1993, Michael Lancaster ventured from his native Ontario to Northern California, driven by a passion for winemaking. After studying viticulture and enology at the University of California at Davis, he worked with such renowned labels as Gloria Ferrer and Quail Ridge.  Now a founding member of R8 Wine Co., he works to craft wines of depth and elegance. 

Ripe flavors and polished yet vibrant tannins provide for a full bodied structure that is uncommon in wines at this price. This wine should be enjoyed in its youth with rich, flavorful food, and could whisk you away to a black-tie ball or a campfire in the woods.
