Join us for the ultimate Spanish cooking class!  In this tapas-style meal we will create recipes from Chef Jody’s extensive travels to Spain where she learned traditional dishes from her close Spanish friends & family.  Add in our duo of Spanish wines from the Cutio (“forever”) winery in Spain produced by brothers Mariano and Jorge Navascues to make for a delicious and entertaining evening. 

On the menu: 

Bocadillo atun y huevo (with tuna & egg)
Arroz de azafran (Saffron ‘Bomba’ Rice)
Piquillo con chorizo y queso (Peppers stuffed with Cheese & Chorizo)
Gambas al ajillo y pimenton (Garlic Shrimp & Smoked paprika)
Vegetable Escebeche (Pickled Charred Vegetables)

*Our wine feature add-on tonight includes 2 bottles of wine from the Jorge Navascues Winery in the Cariñena region in Spain.  Garnacha and carinena  (red), a blend is medium body wine with fruitier notes that are well balanced by vanilla, cracked pepper, and earth.  Macabeo (white) is one of Spain’s most popular white grape, it is herbaceous, floral, and oaky.  Macabeo is a wonderful option for those oaked Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio fans who want to branch out a little.
