Plugin is excited to host its first virtual event with a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales going to The Food Bank Waterloo Region. Special guest Wendi Campbell will kick off the evening with welcome remarks and will discuss the Food Bank’s role in our community.

Your Ticket includes All of the ingredients to make this fantastic Japanese feast*, enough to feed 4 people in your household! This class is held via zoom: you will receive your zoom code and pick-up details on the morning of the event!
Ingredient Pack Includes (*oil and salt and 1/4 cup sugar not included)
Produce:
1 avocado
1 English cucumber
4 radishes
2 green onions
½-1 head Iceberg lettuce
1 medium carrot
½ small onion
2-inch piece ginger
1 clove garlic
Protein:
1 lb sushi-grade tuna
1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken breast
Pantry:
2 ¼ cup Japanese short-grain rice (Kokuho Rose Brand)
¼ cup 2 tbsp. Mirin (sweet Japanese cooking wine)
1 tsp. sesame oil
1 tsp. chili paste or dried chili flakes
¼ cup + 3 tsp. sugar
2 tbsp. sesame seeds
1 sheet Nori (seaweed), optional
½ cup + 1/8 cup Japanese soy sauce (such as Kikkoman Brand)
¼ cup rice wine vinegar (unseasoned)
¼ cup sake (Japanese rice wine)
1 tsp. cornstarch
